Lanzarote Fishing

Last saturday in the Margarita we were still suffering the bad weather conditions we've had most of the week here in Lanzarote, however we were quite lucky and we had a very entertaining day of fishing. Truth being said, the day was extremelly similar to tuesday, as we started off the day heading northeast towards Costa Teguise, but soon after we left the harbour we had already caught a couple of Atlantic Bonitos. Once again, these were extremelly useful in order to be able to fish a Hammerhead Shark of about 70 kilos, that gave us a good 30 minute fight nearby an area called "Los Ancones". Just like tuesday, half an hour after releasing the shark we had a wahoo biting one of the lures. However, this time the hook came out and we lost it. Nevertheless it was good fun.
