Hello,
We are thinking of coming to Lanzarote in July/August and staying in Playa Blanca. Do you do fishing trips from there.
Thanks,
Anthony

Just Purchased 2 tickets to fish on Katfish on 13/06/2011. We are staying at the Holiday village Flamingo Beach, Playa Blanca but our pick up point on the tickets says Puerto del Carmen! Can you help and confirm that we will be picked up from our hotel in Playa Blanca. Thanks Chris

Hello Cris, sorry for the late reply. Somehow WordPress (the service where this website is hosted) is not emailing me the comment notification.
We will be picking you up from outside your hotel at about 8 o’clock in the morning. My colleagues at the office will email you with the exact time.

Hello Paul, many thanks for your interest on fishing with us. September is not only still big game fishing season, but probably the best month of the year. In fact, it is the month where all fishing tournaments happen over here as it’s when most blue marlin is caught.
We provide you a free pick up of your hotel, Riu Paraiso Resort in Puerto del Carmen.
As for prices, you can check them on our website here: http://sportfishinglanzarote.com/fishing/rates
Here you can find more info on the two types of shared trips we offer as well as the days they run:

We are going to Lanzarote in December, and I would like to do some shore fishing. Where’s the best place to go?
Paco on June 20, 2011 at 9:42 am.
Hello Martin, there’s a great place called “Las Malvas” in the town of Tinajo, a bit dangerous but worthwhile. If you are staying in Playa Blanca you should try the surroundings of Pechiguera lighthouse. If you’re staying in Costa Teguise, perhaps you can try to get to a place called Los Cocoteros; it’s great there.
Joanna on June 27, 2011 at 9:06 am.
Hello,
I will be staying in Costa Teguise in Sep, do you have any fishing trips from there??
Paco on July 5, 2011 at 1:08 pm.
Hello Joana,
We depart from Puerto del Carmen, but we provide a free pick up from your hotel reception in Costa Teguise.

Hi Guys, I am returning to Lanzarotte in August. Whats the difference between “game fishing” and “bottom fishing”? I was out there some years ago and we went out on a boat but some of us stood at the bow and the stuff we caught was used as bait for the Kingfish and Baracuda that people at the back of the boat were getting a chance to have a go at. Whats the difference and is this why we only got a go at the little ones and the other guys got a go at the big ones? Still a great day out but just wanted to know for next time.

Hola!
My son really wants to go fishing for his 9th birthday on Friday. There would be two adults, two children aged 9 (!) and 6 and we also have a baby who is 11 months old. Can we all go or is the boat unsuitable for a baby? It would be nice if we could all come but would understand if one of us needs to stay behind with the baby.
Gracias!
Paco on August 12, 2011 at 1:05 pm.
Hello,
I recommended stay behind with the baby because are 6 hours fishing, many for a baby. Afterwards we depend of the weather… and in summer sometimes have many windy days. In any case is a beautiful present for your son… sure he likes it…
Thank you!

Hi there,
I will be in Lanzarote for the first week in October and I would like to have a day big game fishing and also a day bottom fishing. What sort of species am I likely to see bottom fishing? I am an experienced angler and have been big game fishing before so would hope for some decent billfish to still be around at this time of year.
Many thanks and hopefully I will see you in a few weeks.
Anthony

Hello Anthony, first week of October we will definitelly be going for blue marlin fishing, as sept/oct tend to be the best months for this type of fish. Wahoo is popular all year round, so we should be throwing a line or two. As for bottom fishing and coastal trolling, there’s always plenty of bream around (black, red sea, couch’s sea bream, etc), white trevally, and Manta Rays. Other common catches in Autumm are amberjacks, barracudas and sharks, especially hammerhead.

Hi,
I am coming to Lanzarote on 12th September for 10 days and would really like to do some fishing. Is it best to book in advance, or is it possible to book once I am there? I am staying in the Hotel La Geria in Playa de Las Poillos, so do you pick up from there?
admin on August 22, 2011 at 6:30 pm.
Hello Paul, we strongly recommend you to book in advance, as september is a very busy month for us. We do provide a pick up in La Geria hotel.

Hi, I’m coming to Lanzarote on Friday (14th October) with my wife for 7 days. I’d love to go fishing, maybe do some deep sea fishing with some big game fishing too? Not sure what you have available? Do you have any outings planned and if so can you fit in one for fishing (me) and one for watching me catch nothing as usual (Mrs Mark)? She is of course not allowed to fish because she invariably out-does me every time! We’re staying in Puerto del Carmen.
I’d be much obliged if you could email me directly. Sorry for the short notice.
