Summer has finally arrived to Lanzarote
By Lanzarote Fishing | July 14, 2009
Fishing in June has been quite better than previous months, with our boat Margarita Segundo catching the very first blue marlin of the season in Lanzarote. There has only been another marlin catch since then, by a private boat last week, but surely marlin catches will be more frequent in July.
In the Katfish, the most exciting catch of the month was the three wahoos we caught on June 19th. We were heading back to Puerto Calero, when four of the reels scream out. We couldn’t manage a four out of four, but the three wahoos we did catch gave us some unforgettable 15 minutes of action.
In any case, the fish of the month has to be the white trevally, with catches on the Katfish almost on a daily basis, offering plenty of fun all month long.
