Quiet week on the Katfish

By Lanzarote Fishing | October 27, 2008

Last week has been pretty poor on the Katfish, mainly due to the bad weather and the strong Northwest wind. We started off doing quite well on monday, with a 20 kilo wahoo and a three kilo barracuda caugh by a welsh and a polish fishermen respectivelly. However wednesday turned up to be a very bad day, only catching smaller fish while anchored. Thursday things improved a bit, thanks to three atlantic bonito (around two kilo each) we caught while trolling and a one kilo frigate tuna. Friday we didn’t go out and saturday was also pretty quiet. Hopefully fishing will improve this week.
