Yet another bad week
By Lanzarote Fishing | September 3, 2008
This last week has been pretty terrible on the Margarita Segundo, especially due to the northeast winds (called Alisios winds here) which have been particularly strong latelly. Luckily weather forecasts say that from today they are turning weaker, and hopefully will be the beginning of the so-called “September calms” that we get here every year. Overall, a week to forget, a few tuna, some “dorado” and another marlin lost. I hope our luck changes as tomorrow the Puerto Calero Fishing Tournament begins and we’ve lost the last four marlin we’ve hooked!
